Program Description
The clinical medical assistant (CMA) program is approved by MHEC and is only offered at our Rockville, Maryland location. Our CMA program prepares students to become proficient in clinical procedures normally performed in an ambulatory or outpatient care setting such as an urgent care or doctor’s office. Some of these clinical procedures include administering injections and medications, measuring and recording vital signs, performing EKGs, venipuncture (blood draws) and assisting the physician with physical exams.
Upon successful completion of the clinical medical assistant program, students will receive a certificate of completion from the school. Students will then be eligible to sit for the national CCMA exam administered through National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Currently, we have a 100% first-time pass rate for years 2024 and 2025, which is substantially above the average pass rate for schools in the U.S.
